I was SO excited to begin my journey... and as you can see I did very well at first!
I lost 10 pounds, and that was before I even stepped on the treadmill...
I started getting on the treadmill, actually have a record of 67 days in a row.
I was pretty much steadily losing and got to 37.8 pounds...

Then I got sick. REAL sick. I guess it was heat stroke... I couldn't get on the treadmill and I have struggled ever since... what should have been a bad week turned into a bad 'rest of the year.'
I'm not sure why I couldn't get back on track after that... I just got back onto old habits, and over eating... hated the treadmill... I just don't know why I couldn't get back...
I tried though... eventually losing 42 pounds. Woo Hoo!
But that didn't last...

The last couple months have been more gains than losses :(
Family problems, emotional crisis, the flue, stress... all of these things trigger my eating... and get in the way. Life got in the way...
Now it's almost time for my first weigh in of 2011... and I'm not exited like last year. NOT AT ALL.

I'm not motivated...
I feel like I'm starting all over. I have a lot of the old bad habits, and it really gets me down that I haven't improved more over the course of a year...

But it IS a new year... and I have to some how get the motivation I had this time last year.
I have to make sure that all the stress I will face this year will NOT get in the way of my weight loss.
I made a promise to myself that I will get on the treadmill everyday, and even though I'm not feeling very positive at the moment, I intend to keep that promise.
I also need to get a grip on my eating, and loose this weight!

Even though I struggled, I did end up loosing 33 pounds. That's more than I have ever lost in my life. Before that was 16 pounds once...
33 pounds is 33 pounds... and I'm proud of that.
This year, I want to lose double that.
I guess I'm going to have to get motivated aren't I!?!?

I'm sure this year will bring stress, just like every other year of my life...
I can NOT let life get in the way of my weight loss this year
or ever again...
Just as I have to stop letting my weight get in the way of my life...

Here's to a better 2011,
the year I will take charge of my eating, get on the treadmill every day, loose 66 pounds, and change my bad habits, for good!
