First let me thank a new 'follower.' Tomas, Thank you so much for joining me in My Day! Like it reads at the top, it's about my life, my weight loss journey, and whatever else I feel like rambling about :) Speaking of rambling...
I have never seen The Sound of Music. I always just thought it was all signing, some happy little movie... I was flipping trough channels and was surprised. There were Nazis marching in the street... Whaaa??? Not at all what I expected! The father got an order, and it looked like they were going to... well, I don't want to ruin if for anyone LOL. I didn't watch long, because I had no idea what was going on (I hate watching a movie from the middle) but now I'm curious what this movie is all about. Have you seen it? Without giving away anything, was it good? Did you like it? Hate it? I'm just curious :) It looks long, and wondering if I should watch lol.
My day was pretty blah. You know from my last post I'm getting a little depressed, but I'm ok. Ray took the boy out to the park this morning, they had fun. He did much better throwing discs I hear. He fed the ducks, they had a good morning. They came home and Ray made breakfast :) He is being so sweet, he knows I'm having a hard time with it being 'Treat Tina Like Shit Week'. In fact, it's a new week, I hope this isn't a month long event!!! haha.
No matter, I love Ray and our son so much. As long as I have them it will all be ok. And of course my lovely blogger friends :)
Here's what I ate today:
Brunch: 1/2 a ham and cheese omelet, 1 sausage patty, 6 oz orange juice
Dinner: 1 piece left over lasagna, 1 garlic bread, 2 bites of peas, 10 oz ff skim milk
Snack: 10 chips with 3 tbs salsa con queso
Snack: 1 1/2 cracker with crab salad
Snack: bowl of Homey Nut Cheerios w ff skim milk
Total Water: 30 oz
Not enough water in the last few days... I didn't get a second helping, I waited 10 minutes. It worked again :) I don't know what happened with all that snacking though! At least one of those should have been a fruit :(
Treadmill today: 17 minutes/ .65 mile
Total Days in a row: 27

I have watched The Sound of Music more times then I care to admit and, yes, I liked it very much. Julie Andrews has such a beautiful singing voice. I think that tomorrow should be "Treat Tina like a Treasure Week." You start the trend. Whoa, lot's of t's there.
ReplyDeleteWell it's decided, next time it comes on I'm going to watch it!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you Just Me :) That is a lot of Ts! But I like it!!!
Well I've never seen The Sound Of Music, but then I'm not massively into musicals. I guess I should though... it's one of the classics that everyone should be able to say they have seen. Just like Gone With The Wind or... Jurassic Park :)
ReplyDeleteI'm more surprised that you HAVEN'T seen the Sound of Music. I thought it was like one of those requirements that you have to do in your youth? Haha. Rent it, Tina! You're missing out!
ReplyDeleteI love the Sound of Music...it's usually on right after the parade on Thanksgiving and I always watch it...drives my hubby nuts...but I love that movie...such a feel good movie...just caught up from the weekend...sorry that you are having a crappy time with your car and stuff....just know that I am thinking about you and sending positive vibes your way!!
ReplyDeleteTina, it sounds like you are having a bit of a tough time right now, and I'm sorry to hear it :-(
ReplyDeleteBut, I am so glad that you are blogging about it. I know that when I went through a tough time, I went inward and just ate and ate. I think if I had had a blog at the time, it would have been so much better for me, so I am really glad you are keeping up with your blog when things are tough. Soo many kudos to you on your treadmill streak!!
and um, i was obsessed with Sound of Music as a kid, but I LOVE musicals, so I don't know if I'd take advice from me :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody for your input on The Sound of Music :) I know, it's crazy I never saw it. I never saw Gone with the Wind either... Mom made sure I saw other classics, such as the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, and The Exorcist lol... and of curse Jurassic Park hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI never was into musicals either, I always liked Disney movies as a kid though. That's close isn't it??? Now one of my favorite movies is Sweeney Todd, that's a musical. LOL, yeah I know- I'm crazy :) but I do LOVE that movie :)
I feel so much better today (Tuesday) and it must be all of your positive vibes :) Thank you all so much!!!!
Hopefully your vibes reached the car and everything will be better now.
Either way, I'm going to try to stay positive, and of course keep getting on the treadmill :) 28 days now! Woo Hoo!!!
Thank You!!!!
